The
Zurich Open
First staged in 1994, the Zurich Open is one of the most unique professional
golf tournaments in the world. Thirty two top professionals, representing six
different professional tours, compete over two days for the title
sponsored by Credit
Suisse, while the unique format allows 180 amateurs to play with the professionals
under real tournament conditions.
Credit Suisse, as the main Sponsor is supported by a wide range of Associate
Sponsors and Official Suppliers to the Tournament, all of whom help to make
the Zurich Open one of the highlights of the Swiss golf calendar. Each day
of highly competitive golf is followed by a Gala Dinner with superb prizes
for the amateur winners and the professionals playing for a total prizefund
of 100,00 Swiss Francs. Previous Zurich Open champions include Ian Hutchings,
Phillip Price, Jorge Berendt, Julien Clement, Carlos Rodiles and Paul Eales.
