Biography
After a successful junior amateur career which included winning both the Lincolnshire Boys and Under 21 Championships and the Midland Under 18 Championship, Sam represented England in the Under 18 squad.

In 2004 Sam turned professional and ended his first full season in 2005 by winning the Elite Pro Tour Order of Merit.
