Biography
In August 2006
Malcolm played in the BMW International Open in Munich, his 600th Tour
event, and thus became only the fourth player in the history of the European
Tour to achieve that milestone. Prior to that, in his 20th consecutive
season on Tour in 2002, Malcolm won the Novotel Perrier Open de France
in Paris to record his maiden EuropeanTour victory in his 509th Tour
event.
Malcolm’s family also has an impressive sporting background
with his Father, Laurie, having played football for Sheffield Wednesday,
and brother Iain now captaining the Yorkshire County Golf Team having
been a leading player for Yorkshire for over 20 years.
Not surprisingly, Malcolm is an ardent supporter of Sheffield
Wednesday and other hobbies include gardening and chess.
Malcolm lives in Leicestershire with his wife Natalie and their four children,
George (1996), Cora (1999), Louis (2001) and Ruby (2004).
