Biography
Lee enjoyed a great amateur career with the highlight being victory in the
1994 Amateur Championship at Nairn. He was also runner-up in the European
Amateur Championship the same year, and a member of the victorious Great
Britain and Ireland Walker Cup Team at Royal Porthcawl in 1995.
After being capped for England a total of 32 times, Lee turned
professional at the end of the 1995 amateur season.
Three wins on the 2002 Challenge Tour secured the top place
in that year’s Rankings and a card on the European Tour.
Lee represents the Golf Club of Georgia, which is the venue
for the annual match between the reigning Amateur Champion and the United
States Amateur Champion on the weekend before the Masters.
