Biography
Born in Edinburgh in 1975, David’s amateur honours included being
capped for the Scotland Boys, Youths and full International teams.
David was a member of the 1999 GB and Ireland Walker Cup Team that
triumphed over the USA at Nairn and he ended his amateur career as
a member of the victorious Scotland Team in the Home Internationals
in 2000.
David turned professional in 2001 and achieved his maiden
professional victory in 2005 at the Skandia PGA Open on the Challenge
Tour on the third hole of a sudden-death play-off against England’s Stuart
Davis.
A keen football fan, David supports both Liverpool and Hearts
and is says he loves travelling (but not the journeys!)
